Merhbe! Bienvenue!

WOS established (in 2017) a partnership with Step Lorde, a Senegal, West Africa based step team. The team has been working diligently to help promote, educate and enhance the dance genre of step in their region of West Africa and within their local communities. 

Our Focus

WOS goal is to create a philanthropic exchange to help ensure that we are always giving back while learning/growing. Since our partnership we have assisted Step Lorde in growing their brand as they have created several teams as well have begun teaching classes at the International School of Dakar. In addition, World of Step International Competition with the dances that are most common in that region which are: Step, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Mbalax and Afro-Dance.

About West Africa

Senegal is bordered by Mauritania in the north, Mali to the east, Guinea to the southeast, and Guinea-Bissau to the southwest. Senegal also surrounds The Gambia, a country occupying a narrow sliver of land along the banks of the Gambia River, which separates Senegal’s southern region of Casamance from the rest of the country. Senegal also shares a maritime border with Cape Verde. Senegal’s economic and political capital is Dakar.
